Our Services
Locally Owned. Community Driven. Pet Focused.
At Two Rivers Veterinary Hospital, we’re proud to be locally owned and operated—giving us the freedom to prioritize what matters most: your pets.
Our experienced team provides personalized care for dogs and cats, from routine checkups to advanced procedures. We believe in supporting fellow small businesses and prioritizing sustainable practices when we can.
-
Routine check-ups help us catch issues early and keep your pet feeling their best. We recommend annual exams for pets under 7, and twice-yearly visits for senior pets over 7 to stay ahead of age-related changes.
-
Keeping your pet protected starts with prevention. We offer personalized vaccine plans and recommend year-round protection against fleas, ticks, heartworm, and other parasites to keep your furry friend safe—no matter the season.
-
Healthy teeth mean a healthier pet. We stress the importance of daily toothbrushing with all pets, along with routine cleanings. Our professional dental cleanings are performed under anesthesia, allowing us to thoroughly evaluate and clean above and below the gumline—where most dental disease hides. We’ll also check for any hidden issues, helping keep your pet’s mouth clean, comfortable, and pain-free.
-
Spaying or neutering your pet not only helps prevent unwanted litters—it can also reduce the risk of certain health issues later in life, like reproductive cancers or infections. We also offer the option to collect and store your pet’s stem cells for possible future use in regenerative treatments.
-
From routine mass removals and organ biopsies to more complex orthopedic procedures like TPLOs and amputations, we provide thoughtful, high-quality surgical care tailored to your pet’s unique needs. Our experienced team prioritizes safety, comfort, and recovery every step of the way—so your pet can get back to living their best life.
-
Flat-faced breeds like Bulldogs, Pugs, and Frenchies are prone to breathing difficulties due to a condition called brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome (BOAS). We offer soft palate resection and stenotic nares correction—two preventative surgeries that can significantly improve airflow and be performed at the time of a spay or neuter. These procedures help your pet breathe easier, stay more active, and enjoy a better quality of life.
-
If your pet has a lump the size of a pea or larger that’s been there for over a month, it’s time to take a closer look. Our in-house cytology allows us to quickly examine cells under the microscope—helping us determine what’s going on and what to do next, often the same day.
-
Itchy skin, hair loss, and chronic ear infections are often signs of parasites, underlying allergies, or autoimmune conditions. We take a thorough approach to diagnosing and managing skin issues—so your pet can feel more comfortable in their own skin. We have also partnered with a veterinary dermatologist who visits multiple times annually from Minneapolis to help us tackle those extra tricky cases.
-
When your pet isn’t feeling well, time matters. Our in-house lab allows us to run bloodwork, urinalysis, and other tests quickly—often with same-day results—so we can diagnose and start treatment without delay.
-
Digital X-rays and ultrasound give us a deeper look when your pet is sick or injured. These non-invasive tools help us evaluate everything from broken bones to organ health—so we can diagnose more accurately and treat more effectively.
-
Rehab helps dogs recover strength, mobility, and confidence after injury, surgery, or chronic pain. Our customized therapy plans may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, laser, hydrotherapy, and more—designed to support healing and get your dog moving again.
-
Using your pet’s own healing power, regenerative therapies like stem cell and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments help reduce inflammation, repair tissue, and speed recovery. These advanced options are especially helpful for pets with arthritis, soft tissue injuries, or post-surgical healing needs.
-
Saying goodbye is never easy, but we’re here to help you and your pet through it with care and dignity. We offer peaceful, in-clinic euthanasia services and work with two trusted aftercare providers offering both traditional cremation and environmentally-friendly aquamation with ashes returned, if desired.
